About the Book:
This book documents Rem Koolhaas’ much-lauded exhibition at the 2014 Architecture Biennale. It is dedicated to the fundamental elements of building – doors, windows, stairs, ceilings, walls, fireplaces, balconies – and provides a well-founded analysis of the laws of construction worldwide.
