About the book: This book introduces the work of Paul Klee, one of the most important painters of the 20th century Modernist movement. The Swiss-born artist combined Cubism, Expressionism, and Surrealism in his distinctive paintings of geometric landscapes, childlike stick figures, and cryptic symbols to create a style entirely his own.
