About the Designer
Hee Welling is a renowned Danish designer with his own studio in Copenhagen. After studying at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, he completed his Master's in furniture design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His designs are characterized by clear functionality, honest use of materials and a strong visual expression. For HAY, in addition to the About A series, he also designed the Hee Lounge Chair and bar stool – all of them modern classics.

The frame consists of water-based lacquered oak veneer, the footrest is made of stainless steel, and the seat shell cover consists of a cobalt blue wool-viscose blend.

Care
Wood and metal parts can be easily cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Then wipe dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough sponges – they could damage the surface. You should also avoid direct sunlight or strong heat sources.
