Biography: Bernd Growe (1950–1992) was an art historian at the Justus Liebig University Giessen and published a monograph on Edgar Degas with TASCHEN.
Christoph Heinrich studied art history, literature and theater studies and was, among other things, a curator at the Hamburger Kunsthalle; since 2007 he has worked at the Denver Art Museum and publishes on contemporary art.
Ingo F. Walther (1940–2007) was an art historian, editor of numerous books on the Middle Ages and modern art, including for TASCHEN on van Gogh, Picasso and Codices illustres.
Peter H. Feist (1928–2015) taught art history in Halle and Berlin, was director at the Institute for Aesthetics and Art Sciences of the GDR and published, among others, with TASCHEN on Renoir and Impressionism.
