The new production of new furniture results in high environmental impacts. The Norwegian EPD Foundation calculated in 2020 how much CO₂e is generated during the manufacture of various types of furniture. With the increased purchase of recycled or repaired furniture, less new is produced in the long run. By purchasing a B-stock or second-hand piece of furniture at COCOLI, you actively contribute to the circularity of the product and thus to reduced environmental impact. The CO₂e values we state are average values for various product types, calculated by the EPD and serve only as a reference.
What does CO₂e mean?
Several greenhouse gases contribute to climate change to varying degrees, for example, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and others. To summarize the climate impact of these greenhouse gases, they are converted to their "Global Warming Potential" (GWP), the unit of which is CO₂ equivalents (CO₂e). Depending on the activity, several different greenhouse gases can be emitted. Each greenhouse gas can be expressed as a CO₂ equivalent using the GWP.

This Dane module is part of a versatile and flexible module series that can be adapted to any room. A look that playfully leans on the unconventional designs of the 70s, but with modern details, such as a current seat height of 42cm, visible decorative seams and invisible legs that emphasize the elegance and floating impression of the furniture.
In total, there are 5 different modules in the Dane series that can be combined as desired and easily adapt to your living wishes: whether it's a corner module, classic 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-seater sofa with or without a chaise longue, or even in the U-variant: Dane adapts perfectly and stylishly to your (living) wishes!
At COCOLI, we are big fans of the Dane design, which was designed by Nikoline Tryde Hølund for Sofacompany.
The cover is made of an extra soft chenille quality made of polyester, a fabric that is ideally suited for upholstered furniture as it is particularly durable, colorfast and easy to care for. The color Danny Cream shines in a beautiful beige tone.
Textile composition: 100% polyester
Did you know? The upholstery consists of high-quality HR foam and Nozag springs, which adds to the comfort and durability of the furniture.
