About the Book: Paris is as much a city to fall in love with as it is to photograph. This visual companion to the French capital captures the chic and esprit of this metropolis through hundreds of carefully researched images – from some of the earliest photographic recordings of the city by Louis Daguerre and Henry Fox Talbot to today's iconic photos of its fashion, art, and architecture.
Biography: Jean Claude Gautrand (1932–2019) is considered one of the preeminent experts in photography in France.
