About the book: Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, with her modernist-futuristic designs and eccentric building objects, was one of the stars of contemporary architecture. She was the first woman to receive the renowned Pritzker Prize for Architecture and asserted herself in a male-dominated industry with some of the most spectacular buildings of the 21st century.
Biography: Philip Jodidio studied art history and economics at Harvard and was editor-in-chief of the French art magazine Connaissance des Arts for over two decades. His publications at TASCHEN include the Homes for Our Time series and monographs on numerous prominent architects, including Norman Foster, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Jean Nouvel, and Zaha Hadid.
