What shipping options are there?

At COCOLI, you can pick up a purchased product yourself, if the seller offers it, or have it sent to you by a transport company. Depending on the size, weight, and nature of the product, items are transported by experienced parcel companies or reliable furniture forwarders. 

Shipping option parcel service:

For items with a girth of up to 360cm (girth = 1xLength + 2xWidth + 2xHeight) and a weight of up to 31.5 kg, transport will be carried out by a parcel service.

If parcel shipping is handled by COCOLI, it is done in a climate-friendly way via recognized carriers such as DHL and DPD.

Shipping option furniture forwarder:

For items whose size or weight exceeds this, transport will be carried out by a courier or a forwarding company. In the case of transport by a courier or forwarding company, the item(s) will be professionally packed for transport and delivered to the buyer. Disassembly or assembly cannot take place.

If shipping via a forwarding company is handled by COCOLI, you can choose between a standard delivery to the curbside and a premium delivery to a room of your choice, including packaging removal. Please note the prices for the respective options. 

Shipping option self-pickup:

If the buyer and seller live in the same region, self-pickup is possible. If the seller offers this option, it will be indicated on the product page. After the purchase, you will receive an email with the sellers contact details so you can arrange a pickup date. Please do not keep the seller waiting and contact them within 3 days of receiving the email. It is currently not possible to view the item at the pickup location before purchase.

 

How do I know if an item is sold by a dealer or a private individual?

On the product page, you can see who is offering and selling your product in the Product Information and under Shipping & Returns.

If the item comes from the inventory of a manufacturer, official brand dealer, vintage dealer,  the statutory right of withdrawal applies.

If the item is offered by a private individual , you will find this information here: "This item is offered and sold by a private seller. The sale is made without any warranty."

 

How long does shipping take?

You can find the individual delivery times on the product page and during checkout. Once the payment process is complete, you will receive an email with further shipping details. You will also receive a tracking code. Alternatively, the forwarding company will contact you a few days before delivery to arrange the exact delivery date.

Delivery time for sales by a private individual:

Once the seller has handed over the item to the transport company, the delivery time for smaller items is about 2-4 days, and for larger products between 1 and 2 weeks.

Delivery time for sales by dealers:

The average delivery time here is 1 week, but shipping can take between 1 and 4 weeks depending on the dealers location.

 

How can I track the status of my shipment?

If your order is shipped with DHL or DPD, you will receive an email with tracking information as soon as the package has been sent.

If your order is delivered by one of our furniture forwarding partners or by courier (which is usually the case for large/bulky items), our service provider will typically contact you by phone 2-3 days before delivery. You will then arrange your desired delivery window directly with the furniture forwarder or courier.

 

Can I arrange a preferred delivery date for my order?

If your order is sent as a package, it is unfortunately not possible to arrange an individual delivery date or to postpone the delivery.

Deliveries by a furniture forwarder are generally arranged with you by phone approximately 2 to 3 days before delivery. You can then arrange your desired delivery window directly with the forwarding company. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the delivery time.

Do you also ship outside of Germany?

We ship items to Germany and Austria. For shipping outside of Germany or Austria, please send us an email with the item number and the desired delivery address – we will then create an individual cost estimate. Please do not forget to provide your phone number for any queries.
