Kilims are flat wool carpets that can be used on both sides, with a characteristic slit weave, where color changes create small slits in the weave. Typical motifs include rhombuses, squares, stripes, and Caucasian star patterns. The color palette includes strong tones such as blue, yellow, red, green, and beige, which give the carpet its vibrant character.
