The Table with Spaghetti originates from the original work created in Chiavari for the Latin American Osteria „La Mérica“. The work tells of the encounter of two migrants at a table, with Chiavari and the Genoese caruggi serving as silent witnesses to the mixing that takes place at this moment. The Arepa becomes a symbol of home, memory and shared identity, while the Italian space absorbs and transforms the narrative. It is a floating moment where cultures recognize, mix and enter into dialogue with each other, thus creating a new visual language that emerges from the encounter. The work celebrates the intersection of roots and paths, of Latin America and the Mediterranean, in which table, food and city function as emotional and cultural bridges.
