Inspiriert wurde sie dabei von Granitsteinen, die man auf der dänischen Insel Bornholm findet. Dort gibt es einen Steinbruch namens Vang-Granitbruch, daher auch der Name. Die Lampe ist von der Natur inspiriert und von diesem friedlichen Gefühl, das wir bekommen, wenn wir von Natur umgeben sind.
