These vintage rugs originate from used Persian rugs that were found in Iran and underwent a renovation and redesign. Local designers recycle old, handmade carpets as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and goes through a special washing and color neutralization process. In a creative process, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then dyed in new, fascinating colors and patterns. This creates a unique and modern work of art. As these are vintage rugs, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
