These vintage rugs originate from used Persian rugs, found and redesigned in Iran. Local designers recycle handmade rugs as material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a process of washing and color neutralization. Parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. Subsequently, the rug is dyed in new colors and patterns. As these are vintage rugs, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
