The TAFLA mirrors by Zieta Studio are created using FiDU technology, in which stainless steel is freely deformed under pressure. The results are strong yet subtle objects – monomaterial and unique in expression.
TAFLA O is inspired by the natural shapes of liquid drops. Made of high-gloss polished stainless steel and available in seven sizes, it acts as a sculptural individual piece or in artistic compositions. Whether at home, in restaurants, bars, or hotels – TAFLA O lends modern elegance to any room. In addition to the classic Inox finish, various color variants are available to choose from.
Heat Collection – Extended coloring through precision
The objects of the Heat Collection are also created using FiDU technology. After the free deformation of the metal, they are subjected to a high-tech heating process. In computer-controlled ovens, the surface of the steel changes through precise temperature control – every degree Celsius influences the final color nuance.
This creates unique mirrors with subtle color gradients that bring warmth and expressiveness into the room.
Technical Details
Zieta Studio is a design studio that shapes metal in an innovative way. Using its proprietary FiDU technology, the team "inflates" flat metal parts, creating lightweight, stable, and unique objects. Art, technology, and material research are closely intertwined in this process. The studio emphasizes sustainable work, uses durable metals, and produces many of its objects from a single material. This results in furniture and sculptures that are modern, characterful, and functional all at once.
This mirror was created during material treatment tests. Normally, this technique of thermal coloring is not applied to mirrors. Prototype model.
