The two chairs were purchased in the early 1960s and come from the legacy of an architect from Frankfurt. Clear design language and reduction to the essentials were guidelines of his architecture – so it is not surprising that he chose the chairs first presented by Mart Stam in 1927 at the Weißenhof Estate in Stuttgart, which for the first time were not based on legs.

Die Stühle sind dem Alter entsprechend in einem sehr guten Zustand. An den Rücklehnen gibt es rechts und links jeweils eine Delle im Leder (siehe Foto). Die Sitzflächen weisen kleine Kratzspuren auf.
