The ceramic bowl dates from the 1960s from Denmark. An elegant bowl made of stoneware, crafted in a technique that is totally typical of Scandinavian design of the 60s and 70s. Inside, it is coated with a deep blue glaze, which forms a super contrast to the raw, matte surface on the outside. The rim is decorated with a geometric pattern in warm honey tones, giving the whole piece a rhythmic, almost architectural look. The shape is simple and functional – typically Mid-Century Modern – and yet mega decorative. The bowl fits perfectly into a vintage collection, but is also really practical – for example for small items, as a special planter or a small serving platter.
