Polycarbonate 2.0 is a material used exclusively by Kartell that combines a second-generation renewable polymer, produced from cellulose and paper waste, with an ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) certified process. ISCC was one of the first systems introduced in Europe for product sustainability throughout the entire supply chain in the field of renewable energies and is today one of the most widely used and recognized. The advantages of polycarbonate, such as high impact resistance and fire resistance, elasticity, excellent mechanical properties, and easy recycling, are also retained in version 2.0.
