Das französische Möbelunternehmen Ligne Roset wurde 1860 von Antoine Roset gegründet. Ursprünglich auf Spazierstöcke und Sonnenschirme spezialisiert, entwickelte sich das Unternehmen zu einem Hersteller von Möbelgestellen. Seit den 1930er Jahren werden auch gepolsterte Sitzmöbel hergestellt. In den 1960er Jahren begann Ligne Roset, experimentellere Designs zu entwickeln. 1973 wurde die Marke "Ligne Roset" eingeführt und das ikonische Sofa Togo von Michael Ducaroy vorgestellt. Unter der Leitung von Jean Roset ab 1946 expandierte das Unternehmen international. In den 2000er Jahren setzte Ligne Roset seinen Erfolg mit herausragenden Kollektionen wie dem Zen Sofa von Claude Brisson, dem Profile Sofa von Jean Nouvel und dem Facet Sofa von Ronan und Erwan Bouroullec fort.
