The Shrink shelving system by Jörg Höltje and Studio Hausen is a timeless shelf that lends a special charisma to any room through its minimalist design and simple system. The shelves can be flexibly arranged and allow for a variety of design possibilities, whether symmetrical, stepped, or completely irregular. The shelf consists of carefully selected wood from sustainable forestry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By avoiding glues containing formaldehyde and harmful chemicals, the studio places great importance on environmental compatibility. In addition, the studio is located in close proximity to the production site in order to minimize transport routes and environmental impact. The brackets, small steel hangers, are powder-coated in the oven, which guarantees a particularly long durability.
