The set consisting of a vase and ashtray was manufactured in the early 1990s at the Carlo Moretti glass factory in Murano. Both objects are made of mouth-blown glass in deep cobalt blue and bear the signature of Maestro Moretti. The clear design and the intense color effect correspond to the high-quality Murano glass art of this period. Since the 1950s, Carlo Moretti has been one of Murano's established glass factories and is known for signed and numbered design objects. The set is in excellent, near-mint condition.
