About the book: This volume covers: Crumb's move to California, his marriage to Aline Kominsky, the birth of daughter Sophie, the irradiated activities of Mr Natural, mischievous Snoids, Arcade comic strips, political fury, sweat-inducing existential dread, massive-powerful women, inhibited little guys, Mao Zedong, Mick Jagger and moral indignation. Combines volumes 5 and 6 from the second Crumb Sketchbook box set.

Biography: Robert Crumb began his career in the late 1960s with Snatch, Zap and other underground comics. His characters Fritz the Cat, Mr. Natural and The Snoid soon became icons, but it was the revelation of his sexual fantasies with voluptuous, strong-thighed women that made his work world-famous. He is also the subject of the award-winning documentary Crumb (1994). Today he lives in Southern France.
