About the book: From the 17th century to the beginning of the digital age, color theories were illustrated with colored circles and sophisticated diagrams. Using more than 65 works from all over the world and over 1,000 illustrations, this book illuminates the many facets of a subject that inspired Newton, Goethe, Sanzo Wada, the Bauhaus and many others.
