This rug is based on used Persian rugs found in Iran and redesigned. Designers from the region recycle old handmade rugs as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a process of washing and color neutralization. Parts of the pile are partially removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then dyed in new colors. Since these are vintage rugs, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
