This rug originates from used Persian rugs found in Iran and subjected to a new design. Designers from the region recycle old, handmade rugs as the starting material for their art. Each piece is carefully selected and undergoes a special process: the pile is partially removed or reduced, the rug is washed and color-neutralized. Subsequently, it is redyed in modern, fascinating colors and patterns. Since these are vintage rugs, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
