This beautiful vase made of Alexandrite / Neodymium glass is a unique vintage piece that brings charm and style to your home. A substance was added to the glass that absorbs yellow light.
In daylight or normal lighting, the vase is lilac / pink; under cold light (for example, fluorescent tubes and the like), the object is in a violet tone to light blue.
It is ideal as a decorative individual piece or for small floral arrangements.
This special model was designed by Miroslav Klinger for Železnobrodské Sklárny (ZBS) around 1960/1970 with stripe details and partial frosting.Very good craftsmanship, a real gem.
