About the Book: Tamara de Lempicka lived art in the fast lane. With her bold compositions and erotically charged lifestyle portraits, in which Synthetic Cubism and New Objectivity were combined, she made a rapid career in 1920s Paris. Her iconic self-portrait at the wheel of a green Bugatti became the symbol of an era.
