The designers Charles and Ray Eames already designed a chair icon in the 1950s with the DSW Eames Plastic Chair, which has lost none of its charm to this day. DSW is the abbreviation for Dining Height Side Chair Wood Base and describes the characteristic combination of shape and material. The easy-care chair consists of an organically shaped seat shell made of dyed-through polypropylene, which is complemented by an elegant four-legged wooden base made of maple. Powder-coated round steel struts between the chair legs not only give the seat a certain something visually, but also ensure more stability.
