Gabbeh carpets are made by Gashgai and Lori nomads in the Fars province, around Shiraz. The carpets were originally used for sleeping, as they have a higher pile for warmth. The uneven, hand-spun, lanolin-rich wool gives Gabbeh a typical grainy surface texture. Many carpets have natural cream, brown, and gray tones. The red, yellow, green, and blue colors are made with plant dyes. Most Gabbehs are simple; when motifs are shown, they are stylized patterns from the everyday life of the nomads. Goats, camels, dogs, plants, and people are common motifs.

The siblings Vida and Amin combine their passion for craftsmanship and contemporary design to curate unique, handmade carpets. The pieces are knotted and woven by talented knotters, some of whom still live as nomads and produce them in traditional handwork on wooden looms. Their knowledge, their experience and their individual style flow into each piece. Each carpet is made from natural vintage materials and yarn, authentic, timeless and tells its own story.
