I never read - Andy Warhol 70 x 100 cm

"I never read" is a reproduction of the iconic poster from Andy Warhol's first exhibition outside the USA, which took place in 1968 at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden. It is printed on Munken Print White paper and was designed in 1968 by John Melin for Moderna Museet. The artwork carries the character of Warhol's artistic innovation and commemorates an important milestone in his career as he presented his works to an international audience.

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) is undoubtedly one of the most significant and well-known artists of the 20th century. His influence extends far beyond art and has had a lasting impact on the style and way of life of our society. The 1960s were an extremely productive decade for Warhol. By drawing on images from pop culture, Warhol created many iconic paintings, including the Campbell's Soup Cans and the Marilyns.
