The J-Chair is a piece of seating furniture developed as part of a commission for the Jerke Museum in Recklinghausen. Its design draws on the architectural form of the building as well as the composition "Flat Construction – Fragmentation of a Black Rectangle" by Władysław Strzemiński. The construction is based on FiDU technology and combines a light, stable metal structure with a distinctive appearance. The chair is available in upholstered metal. This variant is created in collaboration with specialized European saddleries and requires craftsmanship precision. The J-Chair represents the interplay of materials, forms, and functions, bringing art, architecture, and design into a creative dialogue.
Zieta Studio is a design studio that shapes metal in an innovative way. Using its proprietary FiDU technology, the team "inflates" flat metal parts, creating lightweight, stable, and unique objects. Art, technology, and material research are closely intertwined in this process. The studio emphasizes sustainable work, uses durable metals, and produces many of its objects from a single material. This results in furniture and sculptures that are modern, characterful, and functional all at once.
