Kilims are flat wool carpets that can be used on both sides, with a typical slit weaving technique. This means that the weft has slits where the colors change. The carpets feature classic Gashgai motifs such as rhombuses, squares, stripes, and Caucasian star motifs. Colors like blue, yellow, red, green, and beige are used.
