Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) is considered one of the most significant figures in history and the epitome of the Renaissance genius. This book is the perfect complement to the edition Leonardo. Graphic Work and presents a compact catalogue raisonné of all his masterful paintings.

Based on the successful XXL edition, the work traces the artist's life and work in ten chapters. It presents all known paintings, drawing on letters, contracts, diary entries, and writings to make the man behind groundbreaking works of art visible. From the Virgin of the Rocks to the Virgin and Child with Saint Anne to the mysterious Mona Lisa, this volume includes some of the greatest treasures from the Louvre, the Prado, and the National Gallery in London, as well as works by Leonardo that were lost over time but whose precision and expressiveness continue to impress to this day.
