The Italian word Omaggio, in German "Geschenk" (gift), perfectly reflects the design of the vase. The Danish designers Ditte Reckweg & Jelena Schou Nordentoft created a vase of a special kind for the world-renowned and esteemed manufacturer Kähler Design. For over 175 years, Kähler Design has been the epitome of sophisticated and high-quality ceramics and has always impressed with its unusual and timeless designs. The company, which began as a small family business in 1839, soon achieved cult status and is indispensable in the world of design. Since 2008, the rights to the ceramics company have belonged to architect Frantz Longhi, who successfully continues the work of the Kähler family. The Omaggio series is characterized by its simple and timeless form as well as by its distinctive colored stripes. The vase is made, typical for the manufacturer Kähler Design, from the best Danish ceramics and finally hand-painted. The Omaggio vase has now become a true cult object and a must-have for every design lover.
