Pip-e Chair White

The Pip-e Chair by Philippe Starck (in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet) for the Italian design manufacturer Driade is particularly characterized by its lightness and elegant simplicity. The chair is manufactured in one piece from high-quality plastic, is weather-resistant, and stackable. The material is easy to care for and, despite its low weight, ensures high stability, making the chair extremely practical and mobile.

Typical for Philippe Starck is the reinterpretation of a traditional form in an atypical material: The lines are reminiscent of classic bentwood furniture, realized in modern polypropylene. The monoblock is produced using an elaborate gas injection process, whereby the chair tubes are formed by internal gas pressure. The result is a particularly light chair (only approx. 3 kg) with a decorative rib structure, suitable for indoor and outdoor areas.
