Rizbaf are particularly fine Gabbeh carpets with a higher knot density. These handmade carpets come from the Gashghai and Lori nomads and are characterized by their high-quality craftsmanship. They are mostly made from hand-spun wool, which gives them a lively and coarse surface texture. At the same time, the surface is soft and pleasant, ideal for rooms where you like to move around barefoot. Rizbaf are available not only in natural, monochrome shades but also in colorful and imaginative designs. Stylized patterns from the daily life of the nomads are typical, including animals, plants, or entire landscapes, complemented by geometric concepts.
