Rizbaf Gabbeh Rug Wool Brown

Rizbaf are particularly fine Gabbeh rugs with an increased knot density. They are traditionally handcrafted by the Gashghai and Lori nomads. Hand-spun wool is often used, which gives the rug a vibrant and slightly coarse texture. At the same time, the surface is pleasantly soft and provides a cozy feeling – ideal for rooms where you like to move barefoot. Rizbaf rugs are available not only in natural, monochrome color tones but also in colorful and imaginative designs. Typical patterns incorporate elements from the everyday life of the nomads, such as animals, plants, or landscapes, and are often combined with geometric shapes.
