Biography: Jonathan Kirby is a record collector and music author. He was the editor of the music magazine Wax Poetics from Brooklyn and wrote expert articles for Oxford American and The Fader. He is currently a talent scout for the famous retro label Numero Group, where he also conceived the compilation Purple Snow: Forecasting the Minneapolis Sound. Robbie Busch, also known as “McBoing Boing,” is an internationally recognized record collector and DJ. As an artist, he has been highly versatile over the years: as a consultant and producer for numerous record companies, as an author and photographer for magazines such as Wax Poetics, Big Brother, or XXL, and as a comic artist and author as well as a storyboard designer.
Julius Wiedemann studied graphic design and marketing and worked in Tokyo as an art editor for digital media and design magazines. His TASCHEN titles include the Illustration Now! and Record Covers series, as well as collections of infographics and books on advertising and design.
