About the Book: For more than six years in the 1990s, Sebastião Salgado traveled to the world's crisis zones to portray people on the run, fleeing genocide, war, oppression, or "merely" poverty and hunger. Unfortunately, his large-scale project Exodus has lost none of its relevance since then – on the contrary: a book that calls for action beyond any pity.
