Biography: Stephen Wilkes photographs for Vanity Fair, Time, Fortune, National Geographic and Sports Illustrated, and is booked for advertising campaigns for Nike, American Express, Sony and Rolex. His works are in the collections of many museums, including the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of the City of New York, and the 9/11 Memorial Museum. His numerous awards include the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography and a Top Ten placement on TIME Magazine's "Photo of the Year 2012" list.
Lyle Rexer is a New York-based writer, curator, and art critic. He writes for Photograph magazine and many others, such as Art in America, Aperture, and Modern Painters. His books include The Edge of Vision: The Rise of Abstraction in Photography and How to Look at Outsider Art. A Rhodes Scholar, he is a member of the faculty at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
