Biography: Rhiannon Paget studied at the University of the Arts in Tokyo and holds a doctorate in Japanese art history from the University of Sydney. She is Curator of Asian Art at the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and has published on Japanese woodblock prints, textiles, board games, and Nihonga. Andreas Marks studied East Asian art history in Bonn and earned his doctorate in Leiden on 19th-century actor prints. After his time as Director of the Clark Center for Japanese Art in California, he has been Mary Griggs Burke Curator of Japanese and Korean Art and Director of the Clark Center at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since 2013.
