Biography: Yang Liu was born in Beijing in 1976. After studying at the University of the Arts Berlin, she worked in Singapore, London, Berlin, and New York. In 2004, she founded her own design studio. She leads workshops, gives lectures at international conferences, and has taught at numerous universities in Germany and other countries. Since 2010, she has been a professor at the BTK – University of Applied Sciences for Design in Berlin. Her works have received multiple awards in international competitions. They are exhibited worldwide in museums and have been included in collections. Yang Liu lives and works in Berlin.
