About the Book: The Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid was one of the stars of contemporary architecture with her modernist-futuristic designs and eccentric building objects. She was the first woman to receive the renowned Pritzker Prize for Architecture and held her own in a male-dominated industry with some of the most spectacular buildings of the 21st century.
Biography: Philip Jodidio studied art history and economics at Harvard and was editor-in-chief of the French art magazine Connaissance des Arts for over two decades. His TASCHEN publications include the Homes for Our Time series and monographs on numerous important architects, including Norman Foster, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Jean Nouvel, and Zaha Hadid.
