B&B Italia was founded in 1966 by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and was characterized by the fusion of contemporary culture and innovative design. The company set new standards with projects such as the Coronado sofa by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, which integrated modern ideas and technologies such as cold-molded polyurethane foam.
