The modular sofa system Curt was designed by Malte Grieb and Joa Herrenknecht and offers diverse usage possibilities through four combinable modules. Depending on the arrangement, different furniture variants can be realized from these, including sofa, chaise lounge, bench, armchair, seating island, stool or loveseat. In total, more than twenty combinations are possible.
Each module is based on a stable plywood frame with webbing and is equipped with a three-layer cold foam upholstery. The materials used can be adapted on request for use in hotels or public facilities. The system is handmade and is characterized by a clear, modern design. The model dates from the year 2020 and can be attributed to 21st-century design. Production takes place in Poland.
