Der schlank-elegante Sessel wurde in den 1970er - 1980er Jahren von dem Designer Burkhard Vogtherr für den namhaften italienischen Möbelhersteller Arflex entworfen und von 1980 bis 1989 produziert. Der Sessel fügt sich durch seine schlanke Form und sein neutrales Schwarz in jegliches Ambiente hervorragend ein.
Arflex ist weltbekannt für ihre Zusammenarbeit mit berühmten Designern, deren Designs in den ständigen Sammlungen namhafter Museen (Triennale Design Museum/Mailand, Triennale Museum/Tokyo, Museum of Modern Art/New York, Chicago Athenaeum.) vertreten sind.

Beide Sessel sind in sehr gutem Originalzustand. Leder und Nähte sind ebenfalls in sehr gutem Zustand, insbesondere ohne Abnutzungsspuren an den Rändern. Das beigefügte Bild zeigt den Kratzer auf einer der Lederoberflächen.
