The outdoor collection ALIGNED was designed by Dutch designer Maarten Baas for Valerie_objects. The starting point was similar to every object that Baas designs: a fully functional design piece that looks as if it were hand-drawn. In this way, Baas redefined typical outdoor furniture, consisting of metal frames and wooden slats, by sketching the slats with a pencil on paper and then meticulously bringing them to reality.
