AV4 Pavilion Chair with Armrests Walnut Plastic

The Langelinie Pavilion is located on the grounds of the Copenhagen Citadel, overlooking the promenade where The Little Mermaid can be seen, and is characterized by an indomitable spirit. The first pavilion was built in 1885. The echo of its own resilience can be found in the Pavilion Chair by Anderssen & Voll. Here, the challenge was to design a stackable chair for mass seating in this iconic, multi-functional venue, the Langelinie Pavilion. The Pavilion Chair appears airy, with sleek armrests and legs, lending it a light appearance.

Made from FSC®-certified wood, supporting responsible ecological, social, and economic management of the world's forests. Production Process
The chair is made from bent steel tubing and molded veneer. The veneer back is finished with a PU lacquer. The seat is upholstered with HR foam and padding for supreme comfort. All chairs are equipped with an injection-molded plastic stacking device underneath the seat.
