Andy Warhol's "Flowers" is part of a series that runs through different phases of his career. As early as the 1950s, he created delicate floral works as a commercial illustrator. In the 1960s, his most famous flower series emerged, in which colorful compositions are spread across the entire image. These were shown in various orientations, and through the screen printing process, the motifs were smoothed to create a beautiful, completely abstract painting. In the 1980s, Warhol designed a concept for the exterior facade of the Tacoma Dome with floral motifs. Inspired by these images, he created a series of screen prints with daisies. These prints represent Warhol's ongoing interest in flowers as an artistic motif and illustrate the versatility of his creative output.

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) is undoubtedly one of the most important and best-known artists of the 20th century. His influence extends far beyond art and has had a lasting impact on the style and lifestyle of our society. The 1960s were an extremely productive decade for Warhol. By drawing on images from pop culture, Warhol created many iconic paintings, including the Campbell's Soup Cans and the Marilyns.
