Biography: Rolf G. Renner (* 1945) received his doctorate in 1976. He has taught at the Universities of GΓΆttingen, Munich, Charlottesville (Virginia), and Columbia (New York) and has published numerous articles in various journals. Since 1988, he has been a Professor at the University of Freiburg.
