About the Book: Since the dino revival of the 1980s and 90s, paleo art has also been booming. The enthusiasm for dinosaurs and the desire to get an idea of them are much older, however. Zoë Lescaze and Walton Ford on the trail of a passion that fantastically blends art and science.

Biography: Walton Ford (born 1960) initially studied film production at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) but then turned to painting. For 25 years, he has been painting large-format narrative watercolors. His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin and the Brooklyn Museum in New York.
Zoë Lescaze is a writer and editor and lives in New York City, where she was born and raised. Her articles and reviews have appeared in, among others, the New York Times, T Magazine, and the New York Times Book Review. Together with colleagues, she has worked on exhibitions about paleo art and fossils in museums in Harlem, the Netherlands, and Zurich.
